emailROI Acquires Anvil Media, Inc. and GCM Development
Email marketing agency expands to offer site promotion and Web development services

PORTLAND, Ore. (September 8th, 2003) - emailROI, Inc., a full-service email marketing agency, today announced that it has acquired the assets of Internet marketing firm Anvil Media, Inc. and Web developer GCM Development. The merger will enable the company to better service its existing client base and compete effectively in new markets.

emailROI expects to finalize the acquisition by the end of this year, effectively integrating the complimentary services of the founders' independent companies into the emailROI brand and infrastructure. The combined entity will include six full time employees and half a dozen contractors.

Kent Lewis, founder of Anvil Media Inc., and Ryan Buchanan, founder of GCM Development, each managed their own businesses separately while collaborating on client projects prior to launching emailROI last year. "We quickly realized our clients had a common set of needs and we collectively had the solution through an organic partnership," said Kent Lewis, emailROI president. "The merger will streamline operations, sales, marketing and best of all, the clients appreciate the simplicity."
