eROI Execs Tapped For Several Speaking Engagements

A Tale of Two Inc. 500 Companies
Ryan Buchanan, CEO of eROI, will be one of four speakers at “A Tale of Two Inc. 500 Companies” hosted by Starve Ups on Tuesday Oct. 14th. The event will focus on email marketing company eROI and software company Jive Software. Buchanan will be joined by Maureen Pimley, eROI Vice-President of Client Services, Dave Hersh, Jive Software CEO, and Bill Lynch, Jive Software co-founder. The host, Starve Ups, is an entrepreneurial group comprised of several small businesses, which hosts events of interest to the small business community. This lecture is a public event and runs from 6 – 9 P.M at eROI – 505 NW Couch, 4th Floor.

NACHA—The Electronic Payments Association (Internet Council)
The ecommerce landscape is characterized by an ever-increasing number of online retailers as well as online buyers. Creating and maintaining a competitive and long-term sustainable e-commerce channel obligates attention to business process “stickiness.” Stickiness is created at ecommerce sites through brand equity, customer loyalty and other useful site functions, technology tools, entertainment, and community. To maintain market leadership, corporate innovation is imperative for creating a financial hurdle that discourages customers from switching to competitors. Panelists will share their respective insights into the stickiness factor to drive ecommerce.

Ryan Buchanan, CEO of eROI, and Rocky Scales, VP of Sales for Vesta, will be the panelists speaking for the event titled “Merchants Roundtable: The Stickiness Factor — Using Technology to Maximize Customer Relationships”. Oregon Business Forum
Ryan Buchanan will be the guest speaker for the Entrepreneurial Experience hosted by Oregon Business Forum on Tuesday Oct. 21st. The event will take place from 11:30 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Marylhurst University. As the CEO of eROI, an Inc. 500 company and an industry leader in email marketing, Buchanan will draw on his experiences to inform others about the issues surrounding starting a new business.

Tapping into the New Media with Narrow-casting: Online Marketing and Public Relations Fundamentals
On Wednesday Oct. 29th, Ryan Buchanan will be joined by Lisa Donoghe, President of LAD Communications, Mark Douglas, VP of Marketing for Culinate.com, and Kim Carlson, Editorial Director for Culinate.com. The event is hosted by the Oregon Department of Agriculture. It will take place from 9:30 – 11:15 A.M. at the Food Innovation Center. The event will include insights from the four guest speakers regarding their outlooks on today’s marketing and communication issues with new media.

DMA Las Vegas
Dylan Boyd, VP of Sales and Strategy for eROI, will be a featured speaker at several breaksessions for the DMA Conference - Las Vegas (Oct 11-16). Dylan will speak on Leveraging Digital Magazines to Boost Conversions and Build-in Value (10/13/2008 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM) and Digital Publishing (10/15/2008 1:45 PM - 4:00 PM).

DMA London
On Tuesday Nov. 4th, Dylan Boyd, VP of Sales and Strategy for eROI, will be speaking with Jeanniey Mullen, Founder of Email Experience Council and CMO at Zinio. The event titled, “A Practical Guide to Email Marketing,” will be hosted by DMA from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. at Thistle Marble Arch in London. The event will have breakout sessions focusing on email marketing in business-to-business, business-to-consumer, and nonprofit sectors, giving participants the opportunity to focus on specific sectors and the unique issues surrounding them. The event is designed to give participants new insights on how email marketing works, teach them where to invest, help them learn how to integrate email with other channels, and help them identify the key drivers for higher ROI and revenue contribution.
