Agency transitions email marketing experts at emailROI into new company group, complimenting the company's existing Web development services group, GCM Development
PORTLAND, Ore. (January 13th, 2004) - eROI, Inc., a full-service e-marketing agency, today announced that it is bringing its e-marketing service groups under a single organizational umbrella, eROI. Additionally, the new company is launching Anvil Media, Inc. as an independent, wholly-owned and operated search engine marketing services company.
Backed by a bevy of recent, significant client wins for eROI (including Sega, Merant, Fios, and VersionTracker) and Anvil Media, Inc. (Identity Safeguards and Pearl Outlet), eROI executives made the decision to restructure the companies to best leverage their core strengths while offering a higher level of service. eROI and Anvil Media are already working collaboratively on many recent client projects.
The newly combined organization, eROI, will feature two service groups: emailROI email marketing services; and GCM Web development. Anvil Media will provide an additional service group, offering core search engine marketing to eROI clients under the eROI brand. Each group will operate as a team of independent specialists, deployed on behalf of all eROI clients. The combination of services under the eROI brand will enable the company to more efficiently and effectively service its existing client base while enabling the breadth and flexibility to grow into new markets. The combined organization will operate under the direction of newly appointed CEO, Ryan Buchanan, formerly the Chief Operating Officer of emailROI. Kent Lewis, former emailROI President, will now head Anvil Media, Inc., while retaining a position on eROI's Board of Advisors.
"Consolidating our service teams enables us to better serve our clients with Web-based lead generation efforts," said Buchanan. "This will further equip our organization to meet and exceed similar offerings from national full-service agencies, with a single integrated brand, while maintaining unparalleled customer service and value-based pricing."
Combining the company's services under a single brand effectively integrates Buchanan and Lewis' independent, complimentary service groups with eROI's robust and efficient infrastructure. The newly combined entity now employs 10 full time employees, including the deep expertise and experience of eROI's executive team -- Dylan Boyd, Director of Sales, and Amy Troute, Director of Account Services.
"As both Anvil Media, Inc. and eROI grow and consolidate operations, our clients continue to benefit from working with the industry's most results-driven e-marketing companies," said Lewis. "The merger and spin-off will further streamline operations, sales and marketing, providing services that focus on one directive: results for our clients."
