eROI Executive Team
Ryan Buchanan, President & CEO
Ryan Buchanan, founder and CEO of eROI, started the company in November 2002. He has eight years of email marketing, web and e-commerce experience and frequently speaks about email marketing, social networking, and web marketing-related issues. He has also been featured in notable industry publications such as the Wall Street Journal, TheStreet.com, iMedia Connection, DM News, and eMarketer. He has led the growth of eROI from a couple employees at inception to a full team of e-marketing experts, creatives, technical, account, and sales teams. Buchanan has driven 720% growth from 2003 – 2006, earning eROI a spot as an Inc. 500 company. Through his leadership, eROI was the only small, young company to be recognized as one of the Most Admired Companies in Oregon by a Portland Business Journal survey of 2,000 Oregon CEOs in 2007. He served for two years as the President of the Board of the Portland Advertising Federation and also serves on the Boards of Friends of the Children, Software Association of Oregon, Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, Starve Ups and Greenlight Greater Portland. In July 2009, Buchanan was elected as Chairman of the Software Association of Oregon. Buchanan has also been named to the Portland Business Journal’s ’40 Under 40,’ an award that recognizes city leaders under 40 years old, and to Oregon Business Magazine's “50 Great Leaders for Oregon - 50 who fix it, move it, build it, change it and get it done right.” Buchanan is most proud of the team at eROI and positive culture the company has created, which has resulted in a deeper connection to the community and each other.
Dylan Boyd, Vice President of Sales & Strategy
As an early member of the eROI management team, Dylan leads business development efforts and client strategy programs. Under his marketing and sales leadership, eROI has enjoyed seven years of continued growth, been named INC 500/5000 company in 2006/2007/2008, and garnered numerous creative and business awards. Working in interactive since 1996, Dylan is a widely renowned email marketing, customer life-cycle, and engagement marketing strategist, developing and enhancing online presence for brands like HBO, Kettle Foods, Konami, FastCompany, Icebreaker, Travelocity, Providence and OHSU Health Systems, Wacom and many more. Prior to joining eROI, Dylan successfully built global e-commerce and online business solutions for large corporations, and developed interactive content and strategy programs. He currently serves on boards and chairs initiatives for the Email Experience Council, Portland Advertising Federation, HIVE Awards and Start Making a Reader Today (SMART). He routinely speaks at OMMA, EIS, AMA, EEC and other industry events. Dylan is regularly published in MarketingSherpa, MarketingProfs, iMediaConnection, MarketingVox, Chicago Tribune, ClickZ and All About Email, along with authoring TheEmailWars.com since 2005. Maureen Pimley, Agency Vice President
Maureen’s primary focus is to ensure a quality experience on all levels for each of eROI’s clients. She brings more than 13 years of experience managing all aspects of her clients' marketing strategies, from inception of strategy and materials to strategic analysis and finally implementation. She partners with her clients in building brands and identity campaigns and implementing successful web-based marketing solutions for a variety of companies. She actively volunteers and/or participates with many local organizations and has sat as an advisor for the Interactive Media Design Department at the Portland Institute of Art. Prior to joining eROI, Maureen worked with FutureBrand NY, a consumer identity and packaging design agency in New York City. Her past clients have included The Coca-Cola Company, Colgate-Palmolive, Nestle, the Snapple Beverage Group, ConAgra Foods, and Johnson & Johnson.
Jeff Mills, Vice President of Products
Jeff heads up the products division of eROI and is responsible for managing the eROI suite of software products, including: new product development, long-term development road map, and overall quality of the product offerings. He has been with eROI for five years and has a deep functional understanding of marketing applications, coupled with working knowledge as a strategist, analyst, and consultant. In addition, Jeff is the author of eROI’s on-going quarterly studies, for which he has been frequently published and interviewed by such industry organizations as ClickZ, eMarketer, Marketing Sherpa, MarketingVox, New York Times, Seattle Post-Intelligencer and iMedia Connection. Additionally, Jeff participates in a number of online marketing groups, understanding new online technologies and customer needs. Prior to eROI, Jeff spent five years at Gartner, bringing additional experience in statistics, user behavior and product development research.
